2021, a turning point for the PQE Group: no more internal hierarchy and a hiring plan for 550 new employees

 PQE Group , a pharmaceutical and biomedical consulting firm headquartered in Florence, Italy and with 26 offices worldwide, has announced major changes.

By the end of 2020, a year marked by the global pandemic, the company's sales increased 10%, allowing it to grow by expanding its workforce and opening new overseas offices. But not only that.

The real news was announced to employees last month by Gilda D'Incerti , CEO and founder of the PQE Group,  and concerns the introduction of a new organizational chart with a heuristic approach based on shared and participatory decisions from the real world.

This new corporate structure is known as the "Teal Organization" , whereby the word Teal denotes more than just one color. It is characterized by a so-called "evolutionary" organizational model: The traditional hierarchy is left behind and there is more room for greater independence within of the organization while still pursuing a common goal. This new organizational model focuses on people from both a professional and a human point of view and regards them as a member of a common whole.

The concept of the "Teal Organization" comes from the transformation of the American 4.0 industry and the rapid acceleration of this type of transition during the period of the pandemic, thanks to its nature of having to adapt quickly to change.
